Dear Friends
It has been lovely to see more people over the last few weeks at different points in time or to catch up on the phone. If you are getting these emails but haven’t been able to be able to get back to church and would like someone to give you a ring then let us know and we will give you a call. We have 2 services this Sunday both of which will look at and celebrate Saint Luke (the Gospel Writer and Evangelist) as his Saints day happens to fall this Sunday 18th October.
As for Sunday we have two services and the Coffee and Chat Zoom. We have moved the coffee and Chat Zoom to a later time of 4pm on Sunday as there is All Saints APCM this week after the morning service. It would be good to know if this is a better time for people so that we can work out in the future which works best.
We have CHANGED THE ENTRANCE AND EXIT into St Marys as it was proving to be difficult in the colder/wetter and darker months to get into and out of the building. Please make your way to the Choir Vestry door near the west end entrance and main path. It is wider and flatter in terms of entry and there will be sanitiser and the QR code and Sign in sheet in that room before entering the church. Books are in your seats already prepared for you.
Our services tomorrow are:
10.30am – All Saints – Holy Communion with hymns– Mark Simms LLM is leading. Revd Lizzie is celebrating and preaching.

6.30pm – St Marys – Sung Eucharist – Diane Simms (Ordinand) is leading. Revd Lizzie is celebrating and preaching

Naturally anxiety and pressure is being felt in all sorts of different ways as a church community, country and world we feel the effects of uncertainty over Covid-19 and its impact which changes frequently. Please be assured of God’s love and goodness at this time.
Saint Luke is sometimes known as a Doctor or Healer. Our prayers especially for those who work to help and heal others this week. Our prayers for those who need healing. And I pray that you will know the comfort and peace of the ultimate healer that we discover in Jesus Christ.
