Arrived
here on March 1st after a bit of a rough journey. My friend Kerri
and I are at the moment staying just outside of Sydney, weather
not too good at the moment, March it seems is one of their wettest
months.
We have been into Sydney a few times, as there's lots to explore.
We have seen the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, of which were
a bit disappointing. |

We
have been to an Aquarium, where we found ourselves walking around
one place with sharks swimming around us and above, quite scary.
|
| The
weather has now turned out lovely and sunny, so we went off to our
first beach called Coogee, bus service was good and the fare a lot
cheaper than at home. We have taken a walk up the Blue Mountain,
and I have never seen such beautiful views in my life, I have taken
photos, so hope they come out well. Seen our first kangaroos, then
the following day saw kangaroo meat on a menu, no I didn't try it,
but you never know I might try some later on. |

Some
of you know Rachael, and those who don't this is a little about
her. Rachael's mum and dad, are Mair and Richard Bond, Richard
being one of our Lay Readers. she has two brothers and one sister.
Rachael is a member of our congregation and before she left for
Australia with her friend Kerri, we prayed for their safe keeping,
while on back packing holiday around that country, over the next
three months.
Rachael is keeping in touch through E-Mail so look out next month
to find out where they have been and what they have seen.
