The
aim of this page is to give some information on the type of worship we regularly
hold at All Saints Church with a brief explanation as to style and frequency.
Please refer to our Months Calendar for exact details of the services this month.
Where a service doesn't happen every month we have indicated below when the
next service will be.
As a Church we are open to trying a number of forms
of worship and if you are looking for something particularly please do get in
touch and let us know.
HOLY
COMMUNION
Holy
Communion is celebrated every Sunday within our Church. Holy Communion - also
referred to as the Eucharist is a re-enactment of the final meal that Jesus Christ
shared with his disciples before his arrest, and eventual crucifixion. At the
meal Jesus ate bread and wine and instructed his disciples to do the same in memory
of him. We use a set liturgy for this service.
- There
is a said service at 8am every week.
- There
is a 10am service of Holy Communion on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays in the month
- And
at 6:30pm on a 2nd Sunday and 5th Sunday (where is occurs in a month)
HEALING
SERVICE
This
service focuses on the healing power of God, through a quiet service. There is
opportunity to light a candle or receive the laying on of hands - either for yourself
or for someone else. We often have guest speakers at these services to share their
experiences with us.
- Our
main service of healing takes place on a 3rd Sunday at 6:30pm.
- There
is an opportunity to receive the laying on of hands at the 10:00am service on
the 1st Sunday of the month.

in the south of Burgundy, France, is the home of an international, ecumenical
community, founded there in 1940 by Brother Roger (see www.taize.fr/en).
This service follows the principles of Taize worship. It uses simple words and
chants to create time for reflection and meditation.

service takes place every other month on a Sunday evening at 6:30pm - the next
one is 4th June 2007.
- A
Taize Service is held on a 5th Sunday morning at least once a year. The date of
the next Taize morning service is to be set.
