OUR WEBSITE...

Once upon a time, a man sat at his computer and decided to have a browse on the Internet. It was too hot outside - so he sat in the coolness of his study. He decided to find other churches and so went to a site called Anglicans Online. He came across one called All Saints, Fishponds and thought he'd have a look. He liked what he saw and sent an e-mail to the address on there to introduce himself. Low and behold - it was received by a member of our congregation.
So what is the point of the above 'story' I hear you ask. Well - this person doesn't come from our parish, he doesn't even live in Bristol. He doesn't live in England or anywhere in the United Kingdom. He is further away than Europe…. He lives in the Bahamas ! .
So you see - All Saints now reaches world-wide all by setting up an Internet Site. .
Other's also keep in contact with what we are up to via the Internet site - for example: Pat and Ben in Canada, also Cliff and Lena's daughter - Sue. The organist was contacted by an old school friend who viewed the site. It's a small world because this friend plays at one of the churches Richard Burbridge went to

We would like to have your feedback on the site - and also feedback on what you would like to see. When you visit - please sign the guestbook so we get an idea of who looks at the site. Either put your comments here - or e-mail us.

AND - a link between All Saints, Fishponds, Bristol, England and All Saints Church, Rolleston, Central Queensland Australia! What is the link? The church there was built under the supervision of Rev E J B Pike who original came from Fishponds. He attended our church as a child. They use a silver chalice in the Communion Service inscribed "To All Saints Church, Rolleston, from All Saints Church, Fishponds, Bristol, England". Read all about it at:- www.rolleston-on-dove.freeserve.co.uk/rolleston2.htm
We will be looking at contacting this church to make a link. Bye bye for now!
