Anderson had wanted to be a Domestic Science teacher, but became a chemist. Going
on from that she discovered what products went into many brands of foods, such
as Fry's Chocolate and Kellogg's cornflakes. Today, she now lives in a village
and is very much a country women! |

Bennett gave a talk on her experience as an evacuee and the relatives she styed
with. Pat went on to explain about her experiences on returning to a war-torn

Susan Farrance and her mother, Christine Nash, gave a talk about a visit they
had both made to the snowy southern regions. Slides were shown of their trip which
included wildlife such as Penguins and Albratross. |
